Bittersweet

This is called “Bittersweet”

“Bittersweet” always has some happy aspects and some sad ones but life moves on. Someone experiencing smiling depression would – from the outside – appear happy or content to others.

Inside however, they would be experiencing the distressful symptoms of depression. Depression affects everyone differently and has a variety of symptoms, the most distinguished being deep, prolonged sadness.

This beautiful mixed media painting, acrylic, oil pastel, oil paint and gold paint on deep edge canvas. It has contained texture of bright vibrant acrylic and Oil paint, varnished twice as all my other paintings to protect the colour.
